CROI 2020

The CROI committee announced that the 2020 conference will be virtual, due to the propagation of COVID-19 globally and the need of many participants to support health systems in their places of origin.

CROI 2020 is the world's foremost gathering of HIV/AIDS research scientists, clinicians, educators, and policymakers. The conference enables a research forum to translate laboratory and clinical findings into tangible progress against the HIV pandemic. Please find more information about this year's conference here.

COVID-19 Update: On March 6th, 2020, the CROI organizing committee announced that the conference was to be held as a virtual event, given the urgency for many of its attendees to assist in the health systems of their places of origin, and as a precaution due to the increasing disruption on international travel and the risks posed by a mass gathering of medical and public health professionals in potentially having an impact on their capacity to respond to the current outbreak.
